Flow Farm

Flow Farm is a veganic farm in Eastern North Carolina. Veganic farming follows all the rules of organic farming, but also avoids the use of animal-based inputs like manure, blood meal and other fertilizers with animal-based ingredients. Flow Farm uses carefully prepared plant-based fertilizers as well as a powerful natural fertilizer called Biochar that is particularly useful in North Carolina's clay-based soil. They have built their own large kiln to make biochar, and they also produce a plethora of fresh organic (and veganic) vegetables and fruits that they distribute through their CSA as well as farmers markets.
Vegan Street Media created Flow Farm's colorful logo and also designed, wrote and built their website and wrote a feature article about the farm for a lifestyle magazine. We also designed and produced labels for their biochar and speciality pickles made from okra grown on the farm.
